Acupuncture has been practiced for thousands of years to treat a wide variety of health conditions. The World Health Organization (WHO) has approved the following conditions for treatment with acupuncture. The list released by the WHO includes, but is not limited to the following conditions:
Cardiovascular: Palpitations, High Cholesterol, Tachycardia, Bradychardia
Respiratory System: Acute Bronchitis, Asthma, Allergies, Cystic Fibrosis
Disorders of the Eye: Central Retinitis, Cataracts
Gastro-Intestinal Disorders: Acid Reflux, Gastirits, GERD, Duodenal Ulcer, Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn’s Disease, Constipation, Diarrhea, Morning Sickness, Diverticulitis
Neurological Disorders: Headaches, Trigeminal Neuralgia, Parkinson’s, Shingles
Upper Respiratory Tract: Acute sinusitis or Rhinitis, Common Cold, Acute Tonsillitis
Skin Disorders: Acne, Eczema, Psoriasis
Musculoskeletal Disorders: Back Pain, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Sciatica, Carpal Tunnel, Frozen Shoulder, Whiplash, Pantar Fascitis. Sports Injures, Fibromyalgia.
Genito-Urinary: Kidney Stones, Endometriosis, Fibroids, Impotence, Infertility, Menopause, Menstrual cramps. Premenstrual Syndrome, Urinary Incontinence, Urinary tract Infection
